My First Mate

The title of this song is The Voyage. The first line says "I am a sailor, you are my first mate." I consider my beautiful wife my first mate or co-captain if I may say. From the moment I spoke with Jessica, my heart was taken. I have fallen in love with her every day since then. I love every minute I am with her and count the minutes until I return, if I leave her presence.
I have watched the way she takes care of our children and I am amazed at her strength and commitment to motherhood. Never in my wildest dreams did I know I could know love like this. Another line in the song is that when we started it was me and you, now gathered around us we have our own crew. I love the large family we have put together. I look forward to each and every day with her. I have my Heavenly Father to thank for bringing her into my life.
